Retentional mouthguards
1.Transparent retentional appliance.
It is made from the hard plates of Imprelom or Duram, thickness is from 0,5 to 1,5 mm. Indications:
It is used as a retentional appliance after orthodontology treatment by the unremovable technique or removable orthodontology appliances.
Advantage of this vehicle is:

Minimum disconnector of the bite;

2.Osamu retentional appliance
It is a double-layer appliance. An internal layer is stamped from the soft plate of Bioplast, the masticatory surface of teeth is after cut away and the repeated stamping is produced by the hard plate of Imprelon S.
Indications:
Those, what for transparent retentional appliance.
Advantages:
It is more durable and stable appliance, than transparent retentional appliance;
An internal soft layer engulfs an alveolar sprout and necks of teeth densely, not injuring a mucous membrane;
Allows to do the correction of the position of the teeth;
An external hard layer is located on a masticatory surface and cutting edge of the teeth, that gives the minimum disconnector of the bite;
Can be made on one or on two jaws.
3.Positioner-retentional appliance
It is made from the soft plates of Bio-plast, thickness is from 2,0 to 5,0 mm.
Indications:
It is used as a retentional appliance after treatment by the unremovable technique in those cases, when it is necessary to fix correct interdisposition of supramaxilla and lower jaw;
-to the patients with unfinished growth;
-to the patients with a tendency to growth of lower jaw;
It can be used as an independent appliance for the correction of symptom anomalies of the bite.
It allows:
To set the correct position of supramaxilla and lower jaw;
To correct the position of teeth on both jaws;
Effectively to remove the insignificant anomalies of the bite;
Allows to correct the corner of occlusal plane;
If necessary to facilitate breathing, between upper and lower mouthguards in a frontal area opening is leaving;
It can be used for the removal of harmful habits, including infantile type of swallowing.
