Microprosthesis

  Essence of microprosthesis is hidden in its name. Modern materials and technologies allowed to do fillings by methods applied in prosthesis (i.e. technologically more complicate area of stomatology). It is the use of the so-called insets which with the help of castable filling materials are fixed in the cavity of tooth or on his surface. Inlays or onlays, consisting of different ceramic compositions, are made in a dental laboratory, that is advantage as compared to technology of the ordinary fillings.

  During the visit of stomatological clinic dentist processes the blasted tooth properly, removes a caries, and then executes mold which sets forth to a laboratory. The treated cavity is closed by the temporal filling. At the next visit of doctor the made inlay is set in a cavity or surface of tooth by the special compositions which create high impermeability and durable fixing.

  The variety of inlays are veneers, which allow to substitute for the external layer of teeth. Veneer can be set on foreteeth in the cases when teeth are blasted or have other color.
